Major vs. minor title updates
The way you update a live published title depends on whether the changes are considered minor or major.
- A minor update includes small changes that can be made and pushed to live production without impacting users in existing courses. Examples of minor update changes include replacing cover image files or updating a link to an image, video, or other interactive element.
- A major update is an update that needs to be pushed out as a new and separate project, since it would negatively impact existing Revel courses or eText 2.0 titles. Examples of major update corrections include changing the table of contents or changing, adding, or deleting Brix quizzes.
